This high-quality German recording of a live reading done by Ruben Epp in October of 2000 in Germany is packaged with a booklet containing the text of the readings. This may be very helpful to those seeking to learn or relearn spoken Plautdietsch who may read and listen at the same time, in order to experience the cadence and pronunciation of the written words.
Nine of the readings are of Mr. Epp's renditions or translations, often from other "Plattdeutch" dialects, into Plautdietsch. Eight are original Plautdietsch literary compositions by Mr. Epp. The various works read range from wonderfully humorous (Biem Easchte Mol Koafoahre) to the poignant and reflective (Wuarom?).
Contents are:
1. Plautdietsch (J. H. Janzen)
2. Un Best et uk Nich (Wilhelmine Siefkes)
3. Oole Schuld (Frieda Jung)
4. De scheenste Dag (Fritz Reuter)
5. De Bua aun siene Fruu (J. A. Lehmann)
6. Mien Plautz ver'e Däa (Klaus Groth)
7. Wuarom? (R. Epp)

Stellet Licht (Silent Light) has won the Jury Prize at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival, as well as several other film festival awards. It is, as far as I know, the first feature film presented entirely in Plautdietsch.
